Sampson – Sheba’s Haven was contacted by a shelter to see if we had room for a 13 year old ChowX named Sampson. He had a history and 13yrs is usually the end of the line for this breed, so we agreed. Well, no-one told Sampson it was the end of the line, as he is the bounciest 13 yr old the haven has had. He loves playing with the other residents, inside and out. He may have had a painful past but he has not let this change his sweet, gentle disposition. He had had porcupine quills imbedded in his face, for who knows how long, making his muzzle blow up in size. That combined with malnutrition and heart problems, he survived it all.
Sampson will be spending the rest of his days at Sheba’s Haven. If you are interested in sponsoring Sampson or any other resident, please contact the haven.
